We want to reduce our impact on the environment. Here is what we have done;
- Packaging
It makes sense to minimise the use of packaging. Our crêpes are served folded into a triangle and placed in a little bag, no cutlery or plates - simple. If you need a plate ours are compostable. Our cups for hot drinks have a double wall so no need for a sleeve or an extra cup.
- Recycling
All our cups, napkins and bags can be easily recycled.
- Food waste
We have little waste as our crêpes are made to order and our coffee beans ground just before use. It is also so delicious that nothing should be left.
- Energy
Using a Griddle for crêpes is really efficient. Our own tests show that by using the gas based griddle we can save at least 50% energy compared to any pan produced crêpe
- Carbon footprint
We always try to sourcing our ingredients and equipment from the UK. Buying locally means a smaller carbon footprint.
